About this job


The responsibility of the truck driver is safe operation of the truck and situational awareness at all time. All duties of the position are via chip truck. Duties include transporting materials to plant and job sites, conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading material and tarps, cleaning vehicle and equipment, and identifying mechanical issues.

Behavioral Profile

The successful candidate will have outstanding safety and attendance records. Further, he/she will be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. The candidate must also have the ability to effectively communicate with team members. He/she must possess a sense of urgency, along with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Job Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Class A CDL and have at least three (3) years experience, with no more than two (2) moving violations within the previous 24 months. A negative result on a DOT drug screen is also required.
