Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a contractual basis for the remainder of the school year. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students on a elementary levelimprove their munication and language skills. Your expertise will support our students in overing speech and language challenges, ensuring they have equal access to education and reach their full potential.


  1. Assessment and Evaluation:

    • Conduct prehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' munication disorders and needs.
    • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders, articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and language impairments.
  2. Individualized Treatment Planning:

    • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each student's specific needs and IEP (Individualized Education Program) requirements.
    • Collaborate with other educational professionals, teachers, and parents to ensure coordinated support for students.
  3. Therapy and Intervention:

    • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual or group settings.
    • Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to address speech and language goals.
    • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  4. munication and Collaboration:

    • Maintain open and regular munication with teachers, parents, and other team members to facilitate a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
    • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of students' IEP goals.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports in pliance with district and regulatory requirements.
    • Generate progress reports and provide feedback to parents and staff on students' development.
  6. Professional Development:

    • Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
    • Participate in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.


  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with students in a school setting is highly desirable, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Contract Details:

  • Contract duration: Remainder of the school year
  • Work hours: Full time, up to 37.5 hours per week
  • Location: Kalamazoo, MI
