A full-service Community Hospital in the Los Angeles area has a great opportunity for a Hospital Director of Education RN.

This 100+ bed full-service Community Hospital, known for its commitment to patient quality and safety, has a 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Hospital Director of Education RN is responsible for leading the Hospital’s Education and Professional Development Department. The Hospital Director of Education RN will work with Hospital Leadership and Executives together toward the goal of achieving MAGNET designation. In addition, the Hospital Director of Education RN will serve as a liaison partnering with Academic Institutions to further grow and enhance the workforce for the Hospital.  

The Hospital Director of Education RN will oversee the Graduate Nurse Residency Program and Clinical Fellowship Program including Academic Contracts, Clinical Rotation Agreements, Internships, Preceptorships, and Clinical Education. The Hospital Director of Education RN will also oversee and manage a staff of Nurse Educators and other department Specialists. 

Requirements:

 

  • Masters Degree Required
  • Doctorate Degree Preferred
  • 3 Years in Education Leadership in Acute Care
  • RN Required
