This role will be a key contributor in scaling new lines of business that achieve transformational growth for H&R Block. This highly visible role will report to the Director of Small Business Services and provide exposure to a wide range of senior business and functional leaders. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new central operating model and other projects to grow the business.
As a member of the Small Business team, you will lead the planning and execution of our enterprise growth initiative of bookkeeping and payroll services. As part of the team, you will:

  • Help scale new lines of business at H&R Block. Define the opportunities and processes that we should implement and then lead the execution to bring the ideas to life
  • Continue the strategic development and implementation of the new central operating model
  • Partner with finance and the data science teams, quickly and efficiently run regular and ad-hoc analysis to support decision making and process improvement
  • Oversee teams of individuals, people leaders, and cross functional teams, as well as vendors to accomplish project and program outcomes
  • Develop key performance metrics and lead accountability to achieve goals
  • Effectively communicate performance results to senior leadership

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.

Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.

Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
