Job Summary/Objective:

Key Responsibilities
*Develop and manage Contractor Relationships in designated territory.
*Aggressively pursue contractor jobsites to ensure Southwire products are being promoted at the appropriate time during a project cycle.
*Demonstrate Southwire products on jobsites within the territory to ensure we are driving our solutions message by using the resources provided to show our full offering of products.
*Responsible for generating profitable sales within Tools, Equipment, Components, and Solutions business.
*Develop and execute a territory plan and strategy to gain market share in your territory across all products within the Tools, Equipment, Components, and Solutions Group.
*Develop and implement strategies to identify revenue opportunities within industry channels to meet district and/or regional goals and objectives.
*Identify and develop new market opportunities as well as understand market dynamics, customer segmentation, and key customers.
*Support Southwire products at both our end users and our partnering distributors
*Become technically competent in all product lines primarily for Tools but holistically for all Southwire products.
*Aggressively pursue and win major project business as well as introducing and promoting new products.
*Protect and expand business base by communicating (written, verbal, and physical) with customers and understanding their buying influences.
*Understand customers' buying influences and establish frequent sales call patterns.
*Utilize necessary resources and sales support to ensure well-being of the accounts for long term business relationships.
*Attend and participate in industrial trade shows, exhibitions, product training sessions and similar meetings for the purpose of improving knowledge, promoting products and the Southwire Tools brand.
*Execute assigned objectives within timeframe given.
*Additional tasks assigned by management.
*Captures all required information into Salesforce.com. * Maintains Expenses within 21 days of the expense occurring.

Education, Experience, and Skills

Required

Minimum Education Level:High School Diploma

Specialized Degree:Or 5+ years of industry Experience(Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing)

Years of Experience:5+

Preferred

Minimum Education Level:Bachelor's

Specialized Degree:Sales Experience

Years of Experience: 5+

Preferred Field of Expertise:Electrical

Other Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates:
*Must demonstrate creative abilities in sales and marketing.
*Physically able to lift/push/pull 75lbs
*Must be able to pass DOT physical.
*Capable of safely towing a large trailer.
*Minimum travel required 50%.
