What You'll Do:

As the Configuration/Data Management Analyst, you will join a team of dedicated aviation professionals supporting NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262). This is an on-site position that will require an active Secret security clearance.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing the necessary functions of configuration management for control of technical (hardware and software) configuration of laboratory of project assets.
  • Tracking configuration changes.
  • Coordinating and supporting the development of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Applying government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, date management, baselining, and reconfiguration.
  • Demonstrating program experience in the configuration management process must include configuration identification, control, audit and status updates, DoD configuration management policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions, and standards, ECP evaluations, Operational and Safety Improvement Program (OSIP) procedure.


Who You Are:

  • You have a bachelor's degree and two years of related experience. If you do not hold a bachelor's degree, additional years of related experience may be substituted.
  • Ability to analyze ECPs, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Demonstrated program experience with aircraft and systems avionics, subsystems, ancillary equipment, and ground support equipment development, testing, production, and operational use.
  • Familiarity with NAVAIR configuration management practices.
  • Familiarity with DoD logistics processes.
  • Should be familiarity with EIA-649 Standards, NAVAIR 4130 instructions and completing 4130 packages.
  • The incumbent will be expected to work with the Enterprise Change Management (ECM) Tool to assist and track Engineering Change Proposals. Formal training in CM and/or NAVAIR'S NACMED Course and an ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring schematics highly desired.
  • You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision.
  • You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Your organizational skills are impressive, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities.
