Description

NAVAIR's PMA-262 and the MQ-4C Triton Integrated Test Team (ITT) are forging a new paradigm in major acquisition integration and test activities. By combining the Engineering, UAV Operator, and Systems Support talents of both organizations into a single, agile team, new capabilities can be quickly integrated and tested, ensuring all team members are aware of progress at all phases of test from initial code development through lab testing, aircraft, and mission control station instillation, and full system ground and flight test.

As the Software Network Integration Lead, you will utilize your knowledge and expertise in testing processes, procedures, and implementation requirements within a lab setting. This position is based at NAS Patuxent River, MD with some flexibility for telework. Join us to be part of this exciting transition!


What You'll Do:


As the Software Network Integration Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan Network / NetConfig roadmaps for all software (SW) products (PPSM updates for new capabilities, developing aircraft IP files, etc.)
  • Plan, prepare, and review all network artifacts
  • Coordinate with Platform CYBER on Network needs for external connectivity
  • Coordinate with the PMA Mission Systems team on all network updates required to support Fleet operations
  • Act as the lead SME for network SW issues and troubleshooting for the Fleet and submitter of network NATOPS inputs (checklists, Warnings / Cautions / Notes, supplementary info, etc.)
  • Work with the Configuration Management (CM) team on maintaining Hardware Software Configurations Matrix (HSCM) for all network products
  • Work with the Software Support Activity (SSA) team to update and maintain the System Administrator Manual (SAM)
  • Lead and conduct Network integration and testing efforts in the lab and on test assets

Requirements

Who You Are:


The Software Network Integration Lead will have the following education, skills, and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related STEM field is preferred
  • You have 7 years of related experience, with at least 3 years (preferred) of experience supporting a DoD/NAVAIR program
  • You hold a Network + certification, or you'd be willing to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire
  • You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision
  • You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Your organizational skills are impressive, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • This position will require an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Position may require a CI polygraph; candidate must be willing to submit to a polygraph test if required.
