Description

NAVAIR's PMA-262 and the MQ-4C Triton Integrated Test Team (ITT) are forging a new paradigm in major acquisition integration and test activities. By combining the Engineering, UAV Operator, and Systems Support talents of both organizations into a single, agile team, new capabilities can be quickly integrated and tested, ensuring all team members are aware of progress at all phases of test from initial code development through lab testing, aircraft, and mission control station instillation, and full system ground and flight test.

What You'll Do:

As the ELINT Test Lead, you will utilize your knowledge and expertise in testing processes, procedures, and implementation requirements within a lab setting. This position is based at NAS Patuxent River, MD and will primarily be performed on-site.

As the ELINT Test Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing High Band (HB)-specific test cases and vignettes for all Triton HB capabilities
  • Developing HB test cards for all HB capabilities for all other SW users
  • Supporting integration and testing of the Product Release (PR) baseline
  • Supporting the execution of VX-20 test cases during Developmental Test (DT) for all legacy and new HB capabilities
  • Serving as the lead SME for HB SW issues and troubleshooting for the Fleet
  • Working with ELINT HW lead on HW to SW integration issues (FW, obsolescence, HW capacity issues, etc.)
  • Serving as the lead reviewer and submitter of HB NATOPS inputs (checklists, warning/caution/notes, supplementary info, etc.)
  • Serving as the lead reviewer/supplier of all training materials for HB capabilities

Requirements

Who You Are:

The ELINT Test Lead will have the following education, skills, and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related STEM field is preferred. If no degree is held, candidates must have at least 15 years of related experience.
  • 10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years of experience supporting a DoD/NAVAIR program
  • You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision
  • You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Your organizational skills are impressive, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Frequent travel will be required for this position

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • This position will require an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Position may require a CI polygraph; candidate must be willing to submit to a polygraph test if required.
