What You'll Do:

As the Test Lead within PMA-262, NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinating test activities with the Integrated Test Team to ensure all levels of test are appropriately planned and staffed
  • Supporting the execution of VX-20 test cases during DT test events
  • Developing specific System Level III test cases and vignettes for all Triton capabilities
  • Conducting System Level III testing in the MDL and TSIL
  • Overseeing the development of System Level I and II tests with appropriate team members
  • Supporting the Integration Lead to provide regression testing as required
  • Planning and executing STR validation/verification events to support the STRB process
  • Serving as the lead reviewer and submitter of HB NATOPS inputs (checklists, warning/caution/notes, supplementary info, etc.)
  • Serving as the lead reviewer/supplier of all training materials for HB capabilities

This position will be 100% on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD - not eligible for telework.


Who You Are:

  • Associate's degree is required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 10 years of NAVAIR Test experience is required
  • MPR deployment experience, NAVAIR University Test Planning/Test Reporting, and MInotaur /SIGINT test experience, preferred
  • You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • You have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision
  • You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Your organizational skills are impressive, allowing you to effectively manage competing priorities

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. This position will also require a CI poly (candidates do not need to have a CI poly to be considered, but must be willing to go through the process and obtain the CI poly).
