About Nicollet Hardware:
We are a fun, energetic and independently owned hardware store who believes in having a well rounded and diverse staff. Our associates do a little bit of everything, with the foremost focus on the Customer. We are looking for applicants who can work 15-30 hr/week, with a mix of morning, day and evening availability (till 8:15pm). Our store hours are 8a-8p Monday-Saturday and 9a-5p Sunday.

General Summary
Nicollet Hardware is looking for an applicant who is handy, good with tools and high attention to detail to satisfy our Customers. Experienced is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Position Summary
*Re-screening, re-building, and glazing windows
*Ordering and installing thermo panes
*Write and maintain daily contract file
*Train Customers on use of rental equipment
*Service rental equipment

Minimum Requirements
The minimum requirements for this position include:
* Education/Training: High School degree. Posses a vast knowledge hardware related products along with willingness to learn.
* Experience: Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships and working with Customers
* Previous experience in retail environment either in marketing, sales, or back office
* Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus
* A commitment to service excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
* Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business

Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
* Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload Customer orders
* Ability to stand for an extended period of time
* Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth
