Beiersdorf's Direct Store Delivery (DSD) sales team is focused on selling and merchandising the Coppertone and Eucerin Sun brands in high volume Suncare markets at store level.

The Beiersdorf Suncare Market Manager (SMM) is accountable for driving sales within the Northwest region. The SMM manages business outcomes and team performance within assigned region, ensuring cross functional collaboration and best practice sharing. The SMM is responsible for hiring, managing, and developing Suncare Sales Representative (SSR) team members in their region to ensure executional excellence. The DSD Northwest region will include the following territories: Alamo CA, San Jose CA, Sacramento CA, Lake Tahoe CA, Las Vegas NV, Phoenix AZ, Tucson AZ



Your Team

  • Train and coach SSRs to advance customer relationships and to meet customer and Beiersdorf needs with strong brand, category, and marketplace knowledge

  • Help SSRs identify product delivery, promotional, and display programs based on customer needs and marketplace opportunities. Understand incremental display opportunities to provide display forecasts for Florida East region

  • Identify and reinforce priorities and goals for your team to increase sales growth and to minimize product returns. You will do this by spending upwards of 50% of your time traveling with your team in their respective territories weekly

  • Identify resources and provide support to individual team members based on their strengths and developmental opportunities. You will develop individual talent while sharing expertise on marketplace, retailer's knowledge, and incremental selling techniques

  • Develop team building & collaboration within the team

  • Identify high potential SSRs and tailor Individual Development Plans accordingly. Build a succession plan

Your Customers & Partners

  • Build relationships with the customer at region and market levels, enabling strong business relationships between direct reports and key store contacts

  • Build internal partnerships with Sales Account Teams across DSD retailers as well as Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, and Sales Strategy
