Role Overview:

As the VP/SVP Growth, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, embodying a hunter-centric approach to business development combined with a strategic selling approach. You'll take the lead in identifying, approaching, and securing relationships with mid-market and enterprise-level prospects. Your responsibilities will revolve around proactive outreach, establishing and nurturing connections, guiding prospects through the sales funnel, securing RFP and steering an internal team of experts in the submission of responses and working with leadership on the contracting processes. Business development in a marketing services or agency is strongly preferred. This position can be fully remote or hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

· Together with the head of client services, accountable for growth targets for PlusMedia across new to file clients and organic growth

· In partnership with the President and marketing team, develop a growth engine built on efficient outreach and RFP response.

· Initiate and cultivate new relationships with targeted mid-market and enterprise-level prospects

· Identify key channels for engagement and manage ongoing communication inclusive of content and relevant case studies.

· Lead the sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal submission and manage the overall pipeline.

· Update leadership weekly on pipeline to support overall revenue forecasting and management

· Collaborate closely with internal teams to create tailored proposals and recommendations for prospects

· Consistently evaluate and refine the sales strategy to achieve and exceed targets

Reporting Structure:

Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, you'll collaborate closely with various agency experts to craft compelling proposals and recommendations for prospective clients.

Performance Metrics:

Your success will ultimately be measured by meeting a specific growth target for new to file revenue, supporting internal teams in upsell and the overall awareness of PlusMedia in the marketplace (in partnership with Marketing).

· 7-10 years of marketing services or agency and B2B sales experience with at least three in a leadership position.

· Provent track record of using outbound communication to achieve revenue targets

· Proficiency and data entry discipline in CRM tools, specifically Salesforce, to manage and track sales activities.

· Strong experience in leading the pursuit of opportunities in a highly strategic approach while building strong relationships with key decision makers.

· Strong presentation and speaking skills with the ability to command a room.

· Act as a storyteller, sharing the Plus Media story in presentations and in credentials that deliver on the firm's value proposition

· Self-starter and entrepreneurial, has the ability to create, drive and close opportunities as well as lead a team through the delivery of proposals

· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Experience with the integration and monetization of data

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills

· Offline channel experience with direct marketing and production a plus
