Representative will handle inbound customer calls, mail and e-mail, responding to customer requests, while projecting a professional company image. Will identify, research, and resolve customer issues using provided tools, training, and resources.

**Essential Duties and responsibilities**

Answers inbound customer calls, mail and e-mail. Transfers callers, as necessary, to appropriate department in a professional manner. Researches and solves general billing issues. Responsible for completing multiple paperwork forms accurately. Generates letters/e-mails in response to queries. Recognizes, documents, and alerts management of possible customer contact trends. Participates in department and company meetings. Completes project work as assigned. Adheres to all department and company policies. Adheres to published schedules. Assists with training new Customer Care staff and temporary employees. Adapts to company and departmental changes. Understands and effectively utilizes Wolters Kluwer contact center technology.

**Job Qualifications**

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Some college preferred.

Experience*:* Six months to one year of experience working in a customer service/call center environment preferred.

**Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications**

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. Strong understanding of basic Microsoft Excel functionality. Excellent written and verbal skills. Detail oriented. Strong follow-up and problem solving skills. Able to thrive in a high volume contact center environment. Ability to make well thought out decisions. Ability to multi-task while identifying and maintaining priorities. Effectively handles escalated issues within the parameters of the position. Effectively handles change as related to the company/department. Flexibility required for all aspects of the job.

Limited travel may be required.
