and collaborating with tax professionals to achieve favorable outcomes. Strong communication, organizational skills, and empathy are essential for success in this role.
  • Client Assistance: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking assistance with tax-related issues, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and understanding.
  • Information Gathering: Collect relevant financial and tax documents from clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness to facilitate the resolution process.
  • Case Management: Manage client cases effectively, organizing documents, maintaining records, and tracking deadlines to ensure timely resolution of tax issues.
  • Liaison with Tax Professionals: Collaborate with tax attorneys, accountants, and other professionals to provide necessary information and support for client cases.
  • Client Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of clients with taxing authorities, such as the IRS or state revenue agencies, to negotiate payment plans, offers in compromise, or other resolutions.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on the progress of their cases, address inquiries, and provide guidance on next steps.
  • Compliance Assistance: Assist clients in understanding and fulfilling their tax obligations, providing guidance on filing requirements and deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately to clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
