LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a full-time Korean or Mandarin speaking Member Advocate on a contract-to-hire basis for a client in Arcadia, CA. Our client is seeking a Member Advocate to provider customer service addressing member inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and all other aspects of our plan benefits and service.

This position is located in Arcadia, CA or Huntington Beach, CA and is 100% onsite!

Compensation: $20-$22

Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm, October - March, Must be flexible to work 8a - 8pm schedule with weekend rotation.

Job Type: Contract to hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate members, families, providers, and caregivers on benefits and plan options through various communication channels.

  • Accurately explain benefits and plan options in person, via email, fax, or phone.

  • Provide thorough follow-up with members, identifying and resolving their concerns while escalating issues to management or other departments when necessary.

  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and job aids to maintain efficient and compliant operations.

  • Communicate suggestions for improvement and efficiency to management, participating in staff meetings and training sessions.

  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements, including HIPAA guidelines.

  • Document transactions by completing member forms and summarizing actions in the appropriate computer system.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred).

  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience, preferably in healthcare management or a call center setting.

  • Familiarity with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations

  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin, or Korean, required,

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Typing speed of 40 wpm; 60 wpm preferred.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
