The Position: We are looking for a candidate who will performing the role of a Software Sustainment Lead Program Analyst, Senior, supporting PMA-262, the Triton Program Office

The Location: Patuxent River, MD

The Work Environment: On-Site

The Description:

Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

  • Maintain Software Sustainment Matrix and coordinate with Software Support Activity CM, install, test, and integration personnel to establish SSA task schedule.
  • Analyze, and support ECP, TD, and Prototype messages generation for sustainment.
  • Track and update schedules for Development and Sustainment IPTs
  • Assist the Sustainment lead with TDs and ECP
  • SSA CM person activities include verifying requirements for media builds to released engineering, test requirements or development requirements.
  • Conduct media builds in prep for ongoing development or new builds for MOBs/FOBs and Air vehicles.
  • Provide task status to CM lead for media build times, from receipt of new media, ingestion into CROWBAR and duplication of media and Software.
  • Review SSA Configuration Management Plan, understand it and follow the requirements.
  • Generate CM records and follow procedures to ensure a traceable and repeatable process for change management.
  • Report any issues that may delay schedule to the CM Lead with a possible plan to ensure on time delivery.
  • Ensure the Physical Media Database (JIRA) is properly maintained, newly received or newly developed SW has a unique identifier for tracking and checking out as required.
  • Maintain a Physical Media Library and help conduct annual inventory audits.
  • Schedule and Facilitate Configuration Change Boards (CCB). Ensure all documents owners are prepared to present their documents and are ready for review by the required approvers. After completion of CCB route the final change documents for approval and place into the Documents Data Base. (Confluence).
  • Review contract requirements to ensure GFX Delivery's for SW are completed within the timeframe as required by each contract.
  • Develop and provide Media Delivery Notification Letters for media delivered to vendors or suppliers for either integration or test.
  • Support the Navy Fleet with any required Software that is needed for repair or scheduled upgrades.
  • Review TDs for accuracy for SW requirements and documentation requirements.

Education & Experience:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance, required.
  • Masters of Art or Science degree in a technical or business discipline.
    • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTIONS:
      • Bachelors degree with two (2) years of additional work experience.
      • Associates degree with four (4) years of additional work experience.
      • High School Diploma/GED with six (6) years of additional work experience.
    • Ten (10) years of work experience.
    • Proficient in MS Project
    • Familiarity with the Confluence Collaboration toolset
    • Familiarity with Jira and Git

Travel:

  • On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
