Job Description
Title: Customer Service Representative Status: Exempt
Location: Maryland, Virginia Offices Reports to: Branch Service Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative has safety, customer satisfaction, and business responsibilities within branch operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Answering incoming phone calls for service, handle as required to insure we provide Fast, Friendly, Exceptional service both external and internal of the company.
2. Supervising the technicians schedule and process all assigned service contracts.
3. Make sure technicians are scheduled and dispatched as efficiently as possible.
4. Call customers and schedule contract visits.
5. Process all additional service work as effectively as possible as to not delay repairs for the customer.
6. Aggressively obtain parts necessary through purchaser to complete all required work in a timely manner.
7. Keep customer informed if parts are delayed and or the job is delayed.
8. Notify the parts department when drums and cores are returned from jobs.
9. Inform upper management of work load and potential issues. Compliance on required work is key.
10. Assist with Evaluation of technicians based on their performance in the field.
11. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITES
1. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel verbally and in writing.
2. Must possess excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, E-mail and Internet.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
The employee must be available 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Start times may vary depending on location. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or equivalent necessary
2. Bachelor's Degree preferred
