North Atlantic Surgical Suites is seeking a full time Clinical Director to join our team. North Atlantic Surgical Suites is a fast paced Ambulatory Surgical Center specializing in total knee and hip replacement surgery and orthopedic spinal surgery. Conveniently located on the Massachusetts border in Salem, New Hampshire, the state-of-the-art facility was created by leading-edge surgeons from Boston area Hospitals to provide the best possible patient experience.

 

Specialties: Total Hip and Knee Replacement, Hipscopes, and Surgeries of the Lumbar and Cervical Spine including Kyphoplasty and Vertebroplasty.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director leads the nursing operations of the surgery center. The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and developing the Ambulatory Surgical Center’s clinical departments through key tasks such as hiring, evaluating, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising. We seek a professional with proven but flexible strategies to allow for continued growth for the center and to problem solve quickly and effectively using excellent critical thinking skills. The Clinical Director reports to the Ambulatory Surgical Center’s Administrator and will collaborate to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate clinical staff performance. The Clinical Director will oversee preventative safety measures, risk management duties, infection prevention, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes. 


Required Skills:

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing currently licensed in the state of New Hampshire 
  • BSN preferred 
  • BLS and ACLS certification is required
  • At minimum, one-year leadership experience is required, Ambulatory Surgical Center preferred  
  • Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership skills, and teaching capabilities
  • Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
  • Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position
