We are partnering with a premier Intellectual Property law firm that is seeking a highly organized Docketing Specialist to play a vital role in supporting our patent and trademark prosecution process. You'll work closely with attorneys and foreign associates to ensure timely and accurate filings and maintain a well-organized docketing system.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the gatekeeper of our docketing system, handling new matters, transfers, and incoming/outgoing correspondence.
  • Ensure deadlines are met by meticulously clearing the docket daily and keeping the system up-to-date.
  • Maintain quality control by reviewing Electronic Filing System (EFS) receipts and identifying any errors.
  • Generate client status reports and provide docketing coverage as needed.
  • Assist attorneys with special requests and perform electronic patent and trademark searches.

Why You're a Great Fit:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in U.S. and foreign patent prosecution procedures.
  • Proficiency in Inprotech® or similar docketing software is a plus.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise interactions.
  • A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
  • Some college education is preferred.
