Mechanical Assembler
Max Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Tewksbury, MA
Temp to hire
Schedule: M-F (8hr days) – working to confirm the schedule!
Assembly Worker
 POSITION SUMMARY: Performs repetitive mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
  •  Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
  •  Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
  •  Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
  •  May assemble minor variations of in-house standard products. Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping.
  •  Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
  • Completes required documentation related to production.
  •   Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings.
  • Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition.
  • Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
