Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Blazerjobs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the uping 2024-2025 school year. This onsite-only position will require you to work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide exceptional educational support tailored to the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programsfor students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in both inclusive and self-contained classroom settings.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Utilize various teaching techniques and technologies to acmodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • municate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support at home.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid state certification in Special Education.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of 20-28 students.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
