AWS DevSecOps Engineer, LeadKey Role:Spearhead security efforts. Maintain responsibility for working with the team to assist in developing, implementing, and leading security measures to protect projects and infrastructure, while also guiding and developing a team dedicated to security best practices and risk assessments, mitigation for the sector. Lead the integration of security practices across the DevSecOps life cycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Design and develop secure infrastructure solutions using Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure while optimizing for scalability, efficiency, and compliance, ensuring that all systems and procedures adhere to industry best practices and governmental regulations for security. Guide the process of certification and accreditation for systems as required by government contracts and standards. Drive the development and implementation of security architectures for the protection of sensitive data and systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate security considerations in the early stages of project development, conduct security assessments and audits, provide recommendations, and oversee the implementation of security controls. Serve as a subject matter expert on security and advising on the latest threats, trends, and technologies while mentoring and developing a team of security professionals, setting clear objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Basic Qualifications:10+ years of experience in computer industry, security and identity, and delivering to a large enterprise5+ years of experience in a security architect roleExperience working with security tools, including Splunk, Microsoft Security Suite, BigFix, Mobile Management, or Config management toolsKnowledge of cloud environments and DevSecOpsKnowledge of Identity and Access capabilities in an enterpriseAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsHS diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications:Experience with government compliance, certification, and accreditation processes, including frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD standardsExperience with leading security initiatives and teams in complex project environmentsKnowledge of Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and their respective security tools and best practicesKnowledge of network architecture, data protection, and application securityKnowledge of Secure Development LifecycleKnowledge of Booz Allen security solutions and processPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsPossession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skillsCISSP, CISM, or CEH Certifications preferredVetting:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.  Create Your Career: Grow With Us Your growth matters to us—that’s why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
