Director of Clinical Psychology

Scismic is supporting the growth of a nearly private, non-profit organization located in Rockville, MD that has been serving the community for nearly 75 years. Each year, this organization's programs serve nearly 2,000 individuals with a wide range of different abilities. Their mission is to improve lives and expand possibilities for individuals with disabilities by offering a family of services.

We are seeking a full-time Director of Clinical Psychology to join their Testing, Tutoring and Counseling team/department.

Job Description

This position will oversee and manage the operations of the three teams: assessment, tutoring, and individual, group, and family counseling. The Director is responsible for supervising, training, and hiring staff, participating in the development of organizational goals, creating and strengthening community partnerships, supporting center objectives, and providing direct services including comprehensive evaluations.

Required Experience

• Must have licensure or be qualified for licensure by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Board of Examiners of Psychologists
• Must have a PhD in Clinical Psychology or Psy.D.
• Minimum of 9 years of clinical experience in the areas of learning disabilities, ADHD and Autism. Some of these years must be experience with the pediatric population
• At least 1 year of supervisory and administrative experience required
• Experience conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and counseling required
• Experience with neuropsychological assessments desired
• Experience developing and managing department budgets preferred

As a condition of employment, all employees are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Salary range for this role is is $100k-$125k with some flexibility.
