Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and evidence-based practices.
Provide therapy sessions to clients of all ages, using teletherapy platforms and tools.
Serve a range of disorders across all levels, ensuring educational relevance in all interventions.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the client's communication goals.
Work closely with team members to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for clients.
Complete evaluations and screenings to determine the presence and extent of speech and language disorders.
Attend IEP (Individualized Education Program) and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings to provide input and develop appropriate strategies for clients.
Complete daily notes and documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and therapy sessions.
Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, providing guidance and support as needed.
Provide education and training to clients, families, and other stakeholders on strategies to improve communication skills.
Stay current with developments in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and teletherapy practices through ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Maintain or obtain a valid California SLP license.
CPR certification.
Post-graduate coursework in speech, hearing, and language disorders or a related field.
Ability to pass background and fingerprint clearance, health screening, and provide/obtain immunizations (including TB).
Commitment to completing continuing education requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with using technology for virtual therapy sessions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in helping clients improve their communication skills.
Driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation (virtual providers exempt).
