Company Overview

Flexible Metal Inc. is a component supplier located in Tucker, GA. FMI specializes in product design, engineering, development and manufacturing of metal bellows, tubular assemblies, exhaust manifolds, and integrated exhaust systems.

Summary

Product Engineer will develop new products and manage projects from the concept phase through product launch.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Create product design solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate FMI sales, engineering, prototype, and manufacturing launch efforts to support customer needs.
• Develop customer contacts and communicate FMI activities to the customer throughout the project.
• Lead team meetings.
• Perform and/or coordinate product testing to validate designs.
• Increase profitability through implementation of new technology and continuous improvement of existing products and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree
• Minimum of 3 years experience in new product design, development and launch
• Proficient in PTC Creo software
• Proficient in print creation and GD&T principles
• Proficient in the English language both written and verbal. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret documents, drawings, and specifications.
