Pay Rate: $23-24/hr


What’s a typical day as an Electronics Cable Assembler? You’ll be:
• Reading wire tables, wire diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and color codes
• Using power and manual cable building tools
• Taking measurements using tools such as measuring tapes, scales, and calipers
• Using pinning and stripping tools to make connections
• Soldering terminals, connectors, and braid
• Conducting continuity and resistance testing
• Following engineering documentation, company policies, and procedures
• Adhering to IPC-A-620 Workmanship and Acceptability Criteria

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience with cable assembly and reading wire tables
• Are familiar with wire routing, wire diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and color codes
• Possess strong mathematical skills
• Have experience using power and manual cable building tools
• Can take accurate measurements using tools such as measuring tapes, scales, and calipers
• Are skilled in using pinning and stripping tools
• Have the ability to solder terminals, connectors, and braid
• Can conduct continuity and resistance testing
• Have a high school diploma
• Possess leadership skills (a big plus)
