Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, teachers, and therapists, to create a nurturing learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field).
• Active/Valid state teaching certification/license inSpecial Education in TN.
• Prior experience working with students with special needs (preferred) in a life skills teaching.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
