Job Description:
Outside Sales Representatives focus on Business-to-Business sales, working closely with automotive repair shops, dealerships, and heavy-duty/agriculture customers. This role is critical in driving the growth of our business by developing strong relationships with customers and creating tailored sales strategies to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Conduct regular visits to customer locations, including automotive repair shops, dealerships, and agricultural/heavy-duty businesses.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Sales Planning & Strategy:
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets within assigned territories.
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team and management to develop and refine sales strategies.
- Market Development:
- Research and identify potential new markets and customer segments within the automotive and heavy-duty/agriculture industries.
- Provide market feedback to management, helping to shape the company's product offerings and pricing strategies.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent Volo's Auto Supply and generate leads.
- Customer Support & Problem Resolution:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with the store team to meet delivery schedules and product requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the automotive or heavy-duty/agriculture vehicle industries.
- Strong understanding of Business-to-Business sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
