Metal Assembly Technician

Tower Products incorporated is looking for new members to join our Metal Shop Team! The Metal Shop Assembly Technician requires strong experience with mechanical technologies, materials and metal fabrication equipment (Mills, Drills, Punches, Breaks, and Belt Sanders and hand tools).

Metal Shop Assembler/Technician Key responsibilities

• Receiving daily work order assignments
• Reference job BOM trailers to kit inventory for the job at hand
• Reference MPCD or Custom work documentation systems via electronic resources
• Work with sales to meet design opportunities and remain within in the scope of our business model
• Process manufactured products returned for repair or stock Metal Shop Assembler/Technician Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
• PC skills and good communication skills are required.
• Connector layout, scribing, punching, drilling and milling
• Strong understanding of custom fabrication and design
• Strong time management, detail oriented, strong math and computer skills
• Requires working ability to work with numbers, perform complex graphical layouts of wall plates, rack panels and metal products
• Learn Corel Draw and use a design tool for laser engraving
• All other assigned duties

Hours: Mon – Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm

Starting Pay: $18.00 - $21.00
