We are always looking for ways to make your job search easier on Snagajob and are excited to announce that we’ve recently re-vamped the way you can search for jobs on our site. Take a look at what you’ll now see:
So, how do you use it? It’s so simple! Just put what you’re looking for in the first box (it can be anything like server, retail, Macy’s, marketing, etc..) and put your location in the second box. Click “Find Jobs” and bam! You’ll get a list of all the jobs in your area that contain your keyword.
Want to narrow your search down even further? No problem. You can filter your results even further by using the boxes listed under “Jobs” on the left hand side of the screen. Your options include: Company, City, Category, Industry and Job Title.
Say, for instance, you searched for restaurant jobs in Los Angelas. But, you’re 17 years old and a lot of the search results require you to be 18. You can click “Teen Jobs” under “Category” and your results will only show jobs that are available to teenagers 16 and over. You can do that with part-time, full-time, teen, seasonal and summer jobs.
It’s okay if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. You can leave the keyword box blank and simply search by location to see all the available jobs in your area.
Want to see the location of each job? We have that too! At the top of your search results you’ll see the “View by” option. If you click “Map” the view will change to a map format and you’ll be able to see exactly where each employer is located with red pins. Just click on one of the pins and the job information will appear.
Yes, it really is that easy. Take a look, play around and start applying for jobs!
