In the weeks before Halloween, one of the best ways to get ready for the holiday is to re-watch some of your favorite scary movies. Sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting for the movie’s villain to appear on the screen is what makes these watching these films so much fun. So in honor of Halloween, we polled Snagajob members and asked them “What scary movie villain would you most like to work with?”
Scream-inducing options ranged from Chuckie (the worst toy ever) to Freddy Krueger (try not to fall asleep on the job). After over 1,000 votes, we discovered what spooky additions would be welcomed on the job:
- With 40 percent of the vote, Casper the friendly ghost was voted the “scary” movie villain job seekers wanted to work with the most. The classic character does seem like the most obvious choice; he is the only option on the list least likely to chase after you with a chainsaw.
- Thirty-five percent of members said they would want to work with Carrie, the popular Stephen King character with telepathic powers. Old school, and new school, horror buffs know Carrie can get a lot of work done without breaking a sweat or lifting a finger. Whatever you do, just don’t make this prom queen angry.
- Coming in last place was Frankenstein, with four percent of the vote. Sure, he can reach the top shelf but this gentle giant can be a little intimidating and difficult to communicate with. Plus, you’d probably have to deal with angry mobs carrying pitchforks at your workplace all of the time.
These are just a few famous horror film villains – did we leave your favorite off the list? Comment below with your most horrifying choice.
