The Clinical Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services will play a significant role in leading this Operating Room OR to being one of the best in Oregon and will be a welcome addition to this excellence.
The Clinical Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services will report to the Executive Director Patient Care Services, while also being a leader to the development of clinical professionals. This acute care medical center wants the OR Manager to enhance the quality of patient outcomes, by bridging the gap with strong day-to-day management, short- and long-term planning, and program management.
The Clinical Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services will have the chance to lead a staff with a combined, 300 years of experience, of Certified Nurses of Operating Room (CNOR), Certified Registered Nurses First Assist (CRNFA), OR Nurse Practitioners, and Clinical Nurse Specialist / Leaders, and other Perioperative personnel. The Surgical Services Manager will directly oversee a 3-bed OR Suite, a Urology suite and a minimally invasive surgical suite. Furthermore, the OR Manager will also be well versed in the many procedures the Surgical department offers, including: Outpatient, Endoscopy GI, Ear, Nose and Throat, Orthopedic, Urologic.
This leadership position will provide expertise for the overall department in this highly respected Surgical Services Department. The Clinical Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services will utilize the best clinical nurse practices to help maintain the highest quality patient outcomes possible. The OR Nurse Manager will also be utilizing nurse performance improvement evaluations to help improve the clinical procedures to the highest efficiency. At the utmost, the Clinical Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services will be a leader and mentor to the OR Nursing Staff, by developing the best in-unit teams to help improve clinical, operational, and financial performance.
