The Donations Growth & Development Manager is charged with growing the companies' supply chain network of donated goods to support new store expansion and same store sales growth year over year. In 2019 America's Thrift Stores donation teams collected over 50 million lbs. of donated goods, diverting more than 25 million lbs. from the waste stream, raised over $3,000,000.00 for our collective charity partners, and increased our company supply chain +16% over prior year. This growth allowed us to open a new store in September 2019, two in the first half of 2020 with a projected five new locations in the next 18 months. The global recycled textiles industry was worth an estimated $5.2 billion in 2018, is one of the world's fastest growing markets, and estimated to be worth over $8.5 billion by 2026. Unlike any of the competition, America's Thrift Stores Growth & Development Team takes a professional sales approach to what we do, including quarterly MBO sales and growth goals with highly incentivized bonus structures based on performance. Through our charity partner relationships, The Growth Manager networks with county & municipal recycling centers, property management companies, consignment store chains, universities, local community missions, and schools to develop the supply network and grow the business. This role takes a head-on approach to developing the relationship with the charity partner and leveraging donation growth in our markets. Candidates with experience in Business Development, Account Management, B2B Sales, Property Management, Waste Management, Fund Raising, Non-Profit, and Entrepreneurial experience will come with the skill sets needed to be successful in this role.
Requirements
Associates Degree or higher required in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or applicable education and experience in a related field. 3-5 years’ experience in one or more of the following is required; Account Management, Sales, Property Management, Waste Management, Fund Raising, Non-Profit, Marketing, or a strong entrepreneurial background. Valid Class D Driver’s License and Clean Motor Vehicle Report.
