Caregivers needed! 

Are you interested in a slower pace and a more personal, one on one style of Caregiving? Home Instead Senior Care of Farmington Hills is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community, working one on one with clients. No more trying to care for many people at a time- enjoy one on one time with a client in their home! 

DAYSHIFTS

All part time positions start at 11.00 hourly- pay rate is 11.50 for CNA's and those with 1 or more years experience working with seniors needing higher care levels (hoyer lifts, bed care, hospice, maximum personal care, bathing)  pay bonus of  $100.00 extra per week of also available at this time if you work 38 or more hours per week, including a weekend shift on a Saturday or a Sunday. At this time, you can earn up to 14.00 per hour working with just one client! 

We are looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. We have day shifts open at this time-anywhere from 7am start until 8pm finish. 12 hour shifts available for those that are qualified. We provide shadow shifts with current caregivers to ensure your success and offer additional specialized training to all our CareGivers.
 We cover parts of SW Oakland county including but not limited to Novi, Farmington and Farmington Hills, Wixom and Commerce. We cover smaller parts of Milford, Highland, Northville, Southfield and White Lake Twp. We try to keep you as close to home as possible, but you are not limited and can work assignments in any of our covered cities.


Experience required.  These duties include, but are not limited to:

 

• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Companionship and activities
• Medication reminders
• Transportation/errands/outings
• Assistance with transferring and ambulation, including the use of gait belt, wheelchair, or lifts (Hoyer)
• Assistance with grooming and bathing, toileting and incontinence issues.
• Alzheimer's, dementia, and Parkinson's care
• Hospice client support/end of life care

Requirements to join our team:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license and current auto insurance 
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, and drug screen Must be a bondable/insurable candidate
• At least one year of experience is required- this includes caring for family members and workplace experience
• MUST be available for a weekend shift- either a Saturday or Sunday- this is a requirement for all employees
