RV Healths Search Engine Optimization team is a versatile group of creative marketing professionals dedicated to growing our audience through a variety of advanced SEO techniques and best practices. The SEO teams mission is to further establish Healthline properties as a top resource for all health seekers by answering their health-related questions through an exceptional content experience. Content is designed to be easily accessible in search and provides our readers with useful and actionable information, products, and services that inspire them to take steps toward living a healthier and more fulfilling life.

As a Senior Manager: SEO, you will lead a number of SEO initiatives concentrated on driving lower-funnel traffic and conversion for business verticals within RV Health. These include content areas like: Nutrition, Sleep, CBD, and more. Your work will span 4 highly visible domains including: healthline.com, medicalnewstoday.com, greatist.com and psychcentral.com. You will work closely with marketing, editorial, vertical general managers, and product teams, as well as directly manage a team of 4 amazing SEO analysts.

What Youll Do:

• Implementing and contributing SEO strategy for multiple vertical initiatives across Healthline Media properties
• Implementing on-page optimization: content techniques, metadata optimization and SEO copywriting
• Managing and developing a full team of SEO Analysts
• Inspiring and guiding a team of high-potential SEOs
• Ideating, implementing, and reporting on SEO and User Engagement tests
• Informing and evolving a keyword research strategy across multiple verticals to inform content creation and drive revenue
• Collaborating with GMs in identifying performance targets, project milestones, resource needs, etc.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership teams
• Refining, tracking and optimizing SEO strategies
• Working cross-functionally to develop effective user-acquisition and conversion strategies
• Informing stakeholders across the organization around tests, trends, red flags, wins and more

What Were Looking For:

• At least 4 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• At least 2 years of multi-report management experience
• An expert in SEO and A/B testing
• Advanced experience working with popular enterprise SEO tools
• Tech-savvy with an ability to quickly learn new tools
• A highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• A passion for SEO and and an ability to keep on top of the latest industry trends
• Experience working with and presenting to product managers, engineers, editors, general managers, designers, and other marketers
• Experience and expertise in website and data analysis
• An expert in analytics tools such as Google Analytics
• A high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Experience with SQL and Tableau preferably
• Impeccable communication skills for cross-department collaborations
• Familiarity in HTML/CSS
• Familiar with UX best practices and how they affect SEO
