We are seeking compassionate, responsible LIVE-IN (24-hour) CAREGivers for our elderly clients. Our live-in CAREGivers provide in-home, 24-hour care for 3-4 days a week. Providing live-in services allows you to work in one of health care's safest environments: One-on-one in the private home of a senior. 

Most importantly, we're looking for CAREGivers that want to make a difference in the lives of seniors and build meaningful relationships with them. Your personal experiences can support your role as a CAREGiver - have you helped a family member, friend or neighbor?

HOME INSTEAD OFFERS A COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION PLAN:

• Earn $182 per day of Live-In plus overtime for working more than 3 days of Live-in in a week
• Work 3 Live-In 24 hour shifts and make $546 per week, Work 4 Live-in 24 hour shifts and earn $812 per week, Work 5 Live-In 24 hour shifts and make $1085 per week

We're actively hiring for the following areas: Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Harwood Heights, Norwood Park, Nile and the North Shore areas of: Skokie, Evanston, Wilmette, Northbrook, Glenview, Lincolnwood, Northfield, Morton Grove, Winnetka, Glencoe, and others.

Our team of CAREGivers work in the home of our senior clients and provide support in the areas of:
Companionship
Light housekeeping
Laundry
Meal preparation/cooking
Personal care (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, incontinent care)
Running errands as needed
Medication reminders
Walking assistance/stabilization
Dementia and Alzheimer's care

Job Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
• Clean background check, pre-employment drug screening, and fingerprints
• High School Diploma or GED 
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and speak in English
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to use company provided home care tablet while on shift
• Personal or professional experience preferred
• Must be able to provide professional & personal references
