                          Responsibilities

                          Navigant (Guidehouse Company) is making significant investments to expand the company's presence in market access, which includes pricing, reimbursement policy and government affairs, and health economics. This position is for a Director, Life Sciences role with specific expertise in payer marketing and payer account management.

                          The Director role is a highly visible and challenging position that draws heavily upon all of the analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills essential to effective strategy consulting. This role requires a keen ability to engage clients and lead project teams in effectively delivering projects of the highest quality. In addition, a Director identifies business opportunities for clients as new or follow-on work. The ability to assume complete ownership of significant projects while at the same time being a part of and leading a close-knit team is critical.

                          This role requires a leader that can both design and support pull-through of payer strategies to support our clients in achieving optimal access.

                          Specific responsibilities include:

                          • Developing payer value proposition, preliminary narratives and key product collateral such as product value presentations, dossiers, formulary / HVAC toolkits, etc.
                          • Conducting payer segmentation work
                          • Developing detailed landscape assessments for Part B and Part D products
                          • Leading development of payer access strategy
                          • Calling on leading teams that call on payer Medical Directors
                          • Conducting training/onboarding payer National Account Directors
                          • Working with Field Reimbursement Managers to understand customer access challenges
                          • Developing payer ATU surveys for pre-post launch management
                          • Developing payer launch KPIs
                          • Evaluating health system (traditional IDN) strategies to support product access with key customer segments

                          Qualifications

                          Required

                          • A minimum of 7 years of experience in industry or life sciences with at least 3 years in working directly with health plans
                          • Proven track record in account management and annual sales of $1.5M+
                          • Demonstrated conceptual, qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
                          • 5+ urs. strong project management skills are imperative for leading multiple teams
                          • The person in this position frequently communicates with clients regarding the status of his/her projects. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
                          • Education Requirements:
                          • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, JD) preferred
