Summary of Position Coordinates the customer Asset Management program, initiates and completes service requests and work orders. Reviews field information for accuracy before inputting data into the data base. Essential Functions bull Responsible for device check inout and completes all necessary paperwork for items issued and records consumption of inventory bull Trackmanage assets bull Train users on new equipment bull Manage the data being input into the asset management system, including inventory and the condition of the customerrsquos infrastructure assets. Collect additional and missed data in the inventory and condition of the customerrsquos assets bull Initiates, updates and completes service requests received from customers and other departments. Ensures that responses are provided for those requesting information bull Prepares reports and presentations of the data for asset inventory and condition bull Utilizes computer applications to maintain records, analyze data and prepare reports bull Reclaims old devices upon removal from sites and either restocks those or passes them on for disposal bull Participates in occasional projects or activities that require an ability to learn networking fundamentals and the basic concepts of an IT organization bull Operates equipment to properly handle materials being received, issued, stocked and picked Competencies 1. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workersclients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75 of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building andor to other offsite buildings for various project needs.
