The Jan-Aid Crew Leader serves as a working supervisor leading a 4 - person janitorial client based crew. The team is responsible for providing janitorial services to AID properties and businesses in the community. The core responsibilities of this position includes:
Provide outstanding customer service to clients and businesses served
Sets the tone for the shift and creates a positive work environment
Safely transport janitorial crew to scheduled cleaning sites in company van and home
Assign cleaning tasks to members of the janitorial crew including self-assignment
Model professionalism and proper techniques that meet cleaning standards
Provide client centered coaching to all members on the crew to ensure skill development
Conduct rounds at end of shift to ensure all tasks are completed and resolve areas that aren't up to cleaning standards
Complete nightly shift documentation on client progress and concerns
Enter time worked in payroll system to ensure clients are paid timely and fairly
Comply with safety rules and standards set forth by AID and individual business sites
To meet the janitorial needs of the customers served, hours are Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm.
High school or equivalent
One year in the cleaning industry and/or experience working with individuals with diverse disabilities - required
