Responsibilities

SE Technical Analytic Outreach   

This position is for a Senior Systems Engineer (SE) who will provide Front Office (FO)  analytic outreach (AO) support representing our sponsor's equities and capabilities within the industry and academia to identify solutions for difficult organizational and technical needs to advance mission objectives. The SE liaison will work within our customer's organizations and serve as the lead AO representative to the stakeholders.   The primary focus is to build partnerships with industry and academia as well as educate the Sponsor's staff on AO processes and requirements.  The SE candidate should have a technical background and be familiar with the client organization's mission capabilities and systems.   The SE will ultimately be responsible for understanding our client's business requirements, applications, and processes for designing large complex systems/solutions and architectures.  The SE will work with stakeholder management, and engineers and communicate/collaborate on stakeholder requirements and operational needs.   The candidate is expected to support the client in meetings with senior-level Government officials and stakeholders to present details of requirements, capabilities, and systems development.   The candidate will also be required to provide timely support to the client on a host of analytic requirements including tracking production, meetings, briefings and supporting improved systems processes. 

   

Responsibilities include: 

  • Acts as an advocate for the client. 
  • Develop strong relationships with industry  and academic partners and client stakeholders. 
  • Maintain consistent, concise messaging to client stakeholders that aligns with the program strategic goals. 
  • Serve as the program communications focal point for internal and external AO-related communications. 
  • Assist with the execution of client stakeholder interface processes, such as a requirements management process 
  • Provide clear feedback between our client and stakeholders. 
  • Develop and deliver briefings to both client and stakeholder management. 
  • Quickly understand and translate customer/stakeholder requirements. 
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our client's capabilities and determine how these capabilities can support our customers/stakeholders. 
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with client and stakeholders. 
  • Maintain a record of stakeholders emerging requirements for developing future mission capabilities. 
  • Work with customer stakeholders to ensure requirements are properly articulated and prioritized and appropriate technologies are considered.  

 

 


Qualifications

  • BS 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related discipline. 
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support the client's capabilities and stakeholder mission needs, multi-task, work autonomously, take the initiative to provide creative alternatives to intractable challenges or systemic problems. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment co-located with multiple contractor and client teammates. 
  • Experience with supporting ongoing vendor development efforts. 
  • Excellent communication and organization skills. 
  • Experience in presentations  
  • Experience with MS Office applications  
  • TS/SCI   
The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers in the state of Colorado to disclose the following information. Salary Minimum: $111,217.60 Salary Maximum:$237,744.00 The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Perspecta salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Perspecta's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Perspecta provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
