                  Job Description

                  Kelly Services is actively seeking Warehouse Specialist in Oakdale, CA


                  LOCATION:     Oakdale, CA

                  SCHEDULE:     Must be flexible to work shift with most need.

                  1st Shift: 6:30AM to 3PM

                  2nd Shift: 2:30PM to 11PM

                  3rd Shift: 10:30PM to 7AM

                   

                  PAY: $15 per hour

                   

                  JOB DUTIES may include, but are not limited to the following:

                   

                  Create inbound deliveries for production  

                  • Analyze and evaluate production schedule
                    • Communicate with production managers/team leads and supply planning
                  • Maintain and troubleshoot zebra printers
                    • Call in technical problems to Toshiba when they arise if I cannot first resolve myself
                  • Monitor transfer ribbon and handling unit stock

                  Create and distribute daily cross docking opportunities

                  • Select outbound from zout report and alter dates if necessary to match inbound deliveries from production
                  • Fill in Opportunities for Cross-docking spreadsheet and distribute to group
                  • Communicate updates and revisions throughout the day
                  • Checking the system for outbound order loading opportunities
                  • Printing loading  documents
                  • Printing shipping documents

                  Reconciling inbound delivery “packets”

                  • Collect unused handling units and Inbound Delivery Summary worksheets from team leads or Alvey operators
                  • Verify that all unused HU’s have been accounted for and resolve issues with missed scans
                    • Communicate with inventory control specialists or warehouse team leads to help find un-scanned HU’s
                    • Run bin status reports to assist in finding un-scanned HU’s
                  • Run inbound delivery monitor reports to verify that inbound deliveries have been accounted for and completed

                  Scheduling outbound shipments and occasional inbound deliveries

                  • Monitor for outbound shipment requests.
                  • Verify available inventory and shipping material and confirm pick-up appointments
                    • Communicate with Warehouse Dock Specialists and Supervisors to determine best time slots and capacity issues
                    • Follow up on late or no show appointments
                    • Communicate and main-ain good rapport with carriers and customers
                  • Communicate and follow up on issues with ConAgra customer service representatives, Deployers, and transportation load planners
                  • Update Big Lots “Big Routing” system for this particular salvage customer
                  • Send daily updates to carriers informing them of preloaded trailers.
                  • Update database of scheduled orders and distribute schedule in spreadsheet form to group

                  Rail car ordering and tracking

                  • Monitor rail car outbound deliveries in SAP
                  • Order and monitor rail cars in Union Pacific Rail Road website
                    • Ordering cars based on needs of ConAgra and available capacity to load
                    • Relay relevant information to supervisors and warehouse management
                  • Daily communication with Stockton, CA yard conductors and yard managers
                    • Maintain good rapport with car management, Union Pacific customer service and EDI customer representatives
                  • Release billed rail orders in ConAgra, CFI-Teleview system
                    • System requires almost daily updating to maintain accuracy
                  • Update Daily Rail Tracking log spreadsheet with relevant rail car, date, and BOL information

                  Miscellaneous Data Entry

                  • Trailer pool reports
                  • Can receipts
                  • CHEP receipts
                  • Material Inbound Receipts

                  Dock Management - Window

                  • Dock inspection
                    • Docks are clean and equipment is working properly
                  • Detention management
                    • Verifying all load leave within appointment times
                  • Trailer Pick up
                    • Carrier driver interaction
                  • Hostler management
                    • Trailer assignment
                    • Monitor of hostler production
                  • Carrier communication
                    • Pre- load updates
                    • Current trailer pools
                    • Trailer Over weights
                  • Answer Phones and respond to E- Mail requests

                    Safety

                  • Daily BOS expectations
                  • Daily SPA expectations
                  • Participate on Warehouse safety committee

                  Other

                  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
