Jack's Maintenance Service is currently looking to hire a hard working and driven 2nd Shift Shop Mechanic with a passion to exceed and grow within our company. We are a janitorial and maintenance company specializing in commercial cleaning. We do what it takes to get the job done right, and we've been doing it that way since our founding in 1952.

As a Shop Mechanic, we will depend on you for a variety of job duties. (Core job responsibilities including but not limited to):
Trouble-shoot and repair various types of commercial cleaning and custodial equipment in house and in the field
including motors, engines, and production equipment
Ability to follow diagrams, operations & service manuals, and manufacturer's instructions to troubleshoot or
repair equipment
Deliver supplies and equipment to various buildings
Maintain company vehicles & trailers (Perform minor repair, cleaning vehicles, and refueling)
Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory
Clean, test, and stage any incoming or outgoing equipment
Provide general assistance around the shop, including laundry and grounds keeping

Job Requirements
Shop Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements:
Familiarity with cleaning-related equipment usage and maintenance. (Setup, calibration, and/or preventative maintenance)
Familiarity with hand tools
Familiarity and aptitude for handling basic 120-volt, DC electrical, and small engine repairs
Ability to analyze situations and prioritize tasks
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record is required
Position contingent on the ability to pass an acceptable criminal background screening and drug test
Flexibility required based on company needs
A skills test will be required during the interview process
