(#2) In this position, you will be part of the team of vehicle experts that rebuild, and build vehicles for autonomous use. You will be handling state of the art mechatronics equipment and build up highly complex machines. In order to be successful you will be able to align and perform within a team that is working on the best possible assembly solution considering electronics, wiring, and mechanics. Also, you will support Engineers with test equipment and custom build ups, troubleshooting, issue tracking and documentation.
(#3) The main function of the Electric Vehicle technician is to lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, applying principles and theories of electronics, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing. A typical electronics technician has the ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints. They will be assigned to assemble a vehicle, start from frame rails. They may be bolting on a lot of brackets, or wiring, or working with engineers to problem solve. By the end of every day, they should be able to see advancement. Will be working onsite, in the shop with the team.
