Join a fast-paced environment providing strategic and operational support directly to a Federal agency's IT executive.  In this exciting, challenging role you will support an OCIO Staff Director with long-term strategic planning, day-to-day operations, project management, and strategic communications.  The ideal candidate should have experience advising Government executives, thrive at coordination across leadership teams, and exceptional communication skills.  Demanding timelines and changing priorities require an agile mindset and customer-centric approach. The ability to anticipate and engage various stakeholders will help you be successful.


  • Experience of one or more years in general IT consulting, system/application development, design and implementation, business process reengineering, IT transformation, or other related services
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Public trust 
  • Experience supporting senior officials in government or industry
  • Experience tracking and managing tasks, requests, and due dates from senior government offices
  • Strong oral communication skills to facilitate meetings and collect input from technical / subject matter experts and deliver concise updates to executives
  • Attention to detail to verify all submissions are compliant with organization standards and expectations
  • Strong written communications skills including
  • Summarizing IT initiatives for Department/Organization wide communications
  • Writing strategic plans, policies, memos, and talking points for external speaking engagements


  • Ability to quickly learn, support, and improve financial management processes
  • Developing executive-level presentations
  • Ability to identify and address client needs, build solid relationships with clients and customers, and communicate with executive clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner
  • Flexible, customer-centric approach to support rapidly changing business needs and new priorities
  • Recognize and addresses additional opportunities to serve the client, through an understanding of Guidehouse services
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret

Clearance: Public Trust and ability to obtain a Top Secret
