Business Development Leader ndash Oil Gas (Downstream) The Business Development leader is responsible for creating a pipeline of new business opportunities in the Oil Gas (Downstream) sector for the Energy Commodities. This includes opening up new client opportunities. You should have a proven track record of building business in the area of professional services centered on digital transformation in Oil Gas (Downstream) sector.Your experience should include identification of prospective clients and their decision makers and building relationships with them, development of tailored marketingsales strategy, creating proposals with the support of a cross-functional team, engaging with PS personnel to present these proposals and win new business. Primary Responsibilities middot Focused on identifying new business opportunities in the Oil Gas (Downstream) sector. Specifically, o Opportunities in refining fuel marketing area o Opportunities in hydrocarboncrude value chain management optimization o Opportunities in energy trading, risk management and movement logistics of crude, refined products, natural gasnatural gas liquids middot Build relationships with key influencers decision makers at target prospects middot Create a pursuit strategy and executing on the same to win new business at profitable terms middot Ability to understand learn, represent,and sell-in the full suite of services that are offered middot Cultivate business relationships through networking, industry events and outbound marketing campaigns Experience Guidelines middot Successful track record (10+ years) of building business within aprofessional services consulting technology services environment middot Strong familiarity with the Oil Gas business landscape, networking organizations and business community middot Strong existing network of senior business relationships that can be leveraged for business development middot An understanding of the Oil Gas domain and emerging digital trends, challenges, opportunities middot Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with executives middot Ability to listen, discern business issues driving the ldquoAskrdquo, frame pertinent questions to shape and conceptualize likely solutions middot Demonstrated ability to take initiative, be self-driven and drive business opportunities towards an outcome middot Good writing and presentation skills including extensive experience in creating pitch books, responses to RFIs and RFPs middot Must be able to navigate a large organization and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence. middot Demonstrated ability to work across internal organizational functions to cast, pitch and sell deals with relevant subject matter expertise and practice leads. middot Bachelorrsquos Degree minimum with advanced degrees preferred.
