Job Description

Overview LMI is seeking a mid-level Metrics and Workforce Analyst with experience within the Intelligence Community to support a program management office (PMO) in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytic and client communication skills and is able to interpret and translate customer requirements to assist in the development of accurate position descriptions and perform data analysis. The candidate will apply analytical expertise to define tasks and duties in relation to standardized labor category skill levels, develop performance metrics and apply decision models to address business process challenges. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and manage tasks and work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions. The individual is expected to strategize across project teams on workforce- , financial- and PMO-related issues, make recommendations, and furnish a variety of client deliverables. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: * Perform metrics data collection and a develop data/statistical analyses using Excel, SAS Enterprise Guide and Tableau software * Conduct extensive quality control and record keeping procedures to ensure the highest levels of data integrity. * Research data and develop program review materials * Research best practices procedures pertaining to performance metrics and performance standards * Support the accurate and efficient collection and reporting of programmatic and performance data by using Microsoft Excel, Access or a business intelligence tool * Support data gathering and analysis through system report generation, survey development and implementation, and synthesis of data sources * Develop ad hoc data analytic projects to support performance metric and financial analysis * Develop a strong understanding of the array of labor categories (LCAT) offered through the program and confidently explain their application to customers * Assist in developing and implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas: strategic human capital planning, organizational effectiveness and development, change management, workforce planning, financial analysis * Apply critical listening and thinking skills to gather and translate customer requirements into robust work descriptions and assist in selection of the appropriate LCAT * Engage customers via a multitude of communication means (phone, email, instant message, face-to-face meetings, and large-group instruction) * Contribute to or lead discussions with clients and stakeholders of all levels and facilitate requirements gathering, briefings, training sessions, workshops, etc. * Conduct peer reviews of analysis and work products developed by others; identify errors in logic, mathematics, writing, etc. and suggest improvements * Develop implementation plans for new or transformational projects, programs, and initiatives * Create high-quality presentations, models, analyses, and other deliverables and present them to clients and upper management Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree required; preferably in a business discipline * Five plus years of delivering human capital strategy, compensation, HR analytics and metrics, financial analysis, business process reengineering, or organization effectiveness is preferred * Minimum of one year of experience creating and applying performance metrics * Experience working with SAS Enterprise Guide software desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Strong interpersonal skills required. * Hard working and self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Comfortable handling ambiguity and able to complete tasks within deadlines with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment * Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, business strategies, and processes * Experienced briefer, comfortable in front of any audience (e.g., large crowd, senior management) * Open to feedback and learning; willing to coach and teach others * Ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment * Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) * Familiarity with one or more advanced analytical tools and programs is a plus (e.g., Microsoft Access, SAS Enterprise Guide, Tableau) * Willingness to review draft deliverables (i.e., proofread, identify, and correct documents) of colleagues and suggest improvements * Strategic thinker willing to contribute to process improvement efforts by analyzing a problem, then developing and proposing innovative solutions that address clients business problems * Ability to build productive and trusting relationships with internal and external clients and business partners * Experience in HR analytics, financial analysis, business process reengineering, or organization effectiveness is desired * Ability to rapidly gain awareness of and become a subject matter expert in the use and application of client workforce management tools * Ability to exercise discretion and ensure a high level of confidentiality * Experience with leading teams by example to achieve project goals and complete major deliverables Security Clearance Statement: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
