          Job Description

          Altura Associates, LLC is a professional services firm focused on improving energy, environmental, and financial performance across all levels of an organization. Our services include smart building automation system design & delivery, building commissioning, strategic roadmap development for energy conservation and environmental performance, and other custom services related to improving commercial building performance. Our clients include private companies with significant real estate assets, university campuses, healthcare facilities/portfolios, real estate developers, general contractors, and various building owners.

          We are a close-knit team of 30 people located throughout the U.S. with a strong culture of empowerment and innovation. We are seeking a passionate team member to help take our team to the next level with respect to sales processes, client relationship management, and marketing. Our preference is for a team member located in Orange County, CA (our headquarters office is in Irvine). We are also open to this position being primary remote from any location.

          Desired Outcomes

          • Increase the productivity and capacity of our senior staff by supporting them in business development activities, including client research, proposal drafting and organization, document templates, and overall coordination
          • Establish business intelligence processes and tools around lead generation, project opportunities, proposals, and won/lost results
          • Improve the efficiency of our proposal process and resources (resumes, qualifications, templates)


          Representative Job Duties

          • Maintain and continuously improve system for tracking sales leads, opportunities, and outstanding proposals
          • Connect with all staff to regularly update resumes and completed project summaries
          • Assist with setup and maintenance of a client relationship management (CRM) tool for the company
          • Assist in managing an outside contract for marketing content development
          • Develop, master and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of Alturas business and services


          • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (examples will be requested)
          • Experience in business-to-business sales & marketing in a technical field
          • Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
          • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
          • Prefer work experience in smart buildings, energy management, environmental sustainability or related field
