We are looking for talented candidates with interior design experience that would like to learn and grow in their field and become Senior Designers.

POSITION SUMMARY: THE DESIGNER FORMULATES DESIGNS THAT ARE PRACTICAL, AESTHETIC, AND CONDUCIVE TO ARMINCO CLIENTS. THEY WORK AND REPORT DIRECTLY WITH THE SENIOR DESIGNER.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing designs for Arminco clients delegated to them from the Senior Designer

· Maintaining the design schedule and timeline set before them by the Senior Designer

· Staying on top of the project and communicating with the proper parties (construction crew, clients, etc.)

· Updating clients assigned to them weekly and/or when deemed necessary by the Senior Designer

· Creating a timeline for the project and estimate project material costs

· Providing floor plans when delegated by the Senior Designer

· Making site visits prior to design and during construction as needed

· Meeting clients onsite and being available to them as needed as directed by the Senior Designer

· Coordinating and working with dental equipment specialists, cabinet makers, and IT companies

· Attending company trade shows and promote company as needed

· Working with Senior Designer to develop visioning/branding package for client to establish aesthetic direction and interior design concepts for the project

· Working with Senior Designer to develop appropriate finish and material selection and implementing an overall design palette that supports the aesthetic goals, budget and functionality of the project

· Developing construction documents for bidding under the supervision of the Senior Designer

· Drafting project construction documents as needed

· Assisting Senior Designer and/or Consultants/Sales during presentations and meetings

· Assisting with marketing materials as needed

· Assisting in producing the specifications of all products and design elements that will go into a binder for onsite

· Developing floor plans and interior elevations, RCPs and lighting plans

· Assisting in producing the specifications of all products and design elements that will go into a binder for project sites

· Developing 3D renderings, elevations, rendered elevations, floor plans to communicate design to owner

· Looking professional at all times

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:

· Experience heavy in commercial

· Experience in residential

· Strong organizational, communication and customer relationship management skills

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Valid work permit (USA)

· B.S Degree of Interior Design or Interior Architecture required

· Minimum of 2+ years of experience required

· Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills

· Working knowledge and proficiency of Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

· Outstanding graphic presentation skills

· Must be willing to travel when required

· Excellent attention to detail

· Extremely organized
