Project/Job Description: PAE is seeking an intern to support PAE's Global Supply Chain Department. PAE has operations in over 60 countries and maintains an intricate network of suppliers, third party logistics providers, and talented staff to ensure our operations teams receive the equipment and materials they need to complete their mission. Some of the tasks the Global Supply Chain Intern may see include: * Under close supervision; assists in the preparation and administration of subcontracts and procurements, consistent with client requirements government regulations and procurement policies/procedures. * Takes initiative to troubleshoot issues as they arise and learns Global Supply Chain Management standards, plans and policies. * Disseminates information to appropriate stakeholders regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination. * Collaborates cross functionally with PAE staff representing the legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests of the subcontract award and technical performance. * Ensures the receipt, accuracy and timeliness of subcontractor submitted documents relating to the subcontract deliverables as well as monitoring performance relative to timeliness, cost considerations, and technical objectives. * Present synopsis of internship responsibilities and achievements to PAE executives at the conclusion of internship * Contribute to data analytics relevant to the Global Supply Chain organization and its stakeholders. Requirements: * Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management * 3.0 GPA minimum * Ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance * 0-5 years of experience with directly related experience in the government or contracting environment preferred * Desired traits: Highly self-motivated, strong leadership skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions * Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Commercial Purchasing Systems is highly preferred but not required. * Specific Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office software to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Projects.
