Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide enterprise and systems architectural consultations to management, system sponsors, stewards and team members. Participate and support review of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, to architect and propose end- to- end infrastructure and platform engineered solutions. Participate across all phases of the solution lifecycle related to infrastructure and platform engineering starting with pre-sales solutions architecture support, resource identification, and implementation support with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation of solution. Provide technical solution architecture and design support, including propose technical architecture, solution design, and implementation methodology. Explore newer technologies and platforms to leverage and include in newer program pursuits. Architect custom, reusable solutions that can be leveraged across the organization. Utilize detailed understanding of the clientproject processes to ensure corresponding infrastructure and platform alignment. Define and implement architectural governance to ensure scalable and extendable architecture. Develop technically and operationally feasible long-term IT strategies and plans. Identify, explore and recommend emerging technologies including analysis of impact. Collaborate with project leads, program managers, and managers to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for division, center level projects. Provide technical documentation of consultations to management and system sponsors and stewards. Minimum Requirements Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through several department managers within the company. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. Regularly interacts with executives andor major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
